What's Involved in a Two-Story Chandelier Installation?

High ceilings make a dramatic architectural statement. Unfortunately, they also make electrical fixture installation more complicated. Proper preparation becomes especially important when the chandelier is large or heavy.

  • Electrical inspection: Existing wiring and the electrical box are evaluated before installing the new fixture.
  • Mounting support: The support system must be appropriate for the weight and design of the fixture.
